Month6 vs Strong: which workout app fits you?
Facts about Strong as of , from its own site, help center and store listings, linked in the table. Strong is a trademark of its owner; this page is not affiliated with it.
The short version
Strong is one of the longest-running workout loggers on the App Store, and it is deliberately simple: a clean notebook for the sets you do, the routines you write, and the charts that follow. Month6 logs the same sets but starts somewhere else: you pick a goal, it builds the training plan and the daily calorie and protein targets, and it shows a projected figure of your body at Month 6 that the log then works toward.
This page compares the two as they stood on the date at the top. Facts about Strong come from Strong's own site, its help center and its App Store listing, linked in the table. Prices are US App Store figures and can differ in your region. The aim is to help you pick the one that fits how you train, not to rank them.

“Not listed” means the feature appears nowhere on the official pages we read, not that Strong said it doesn't exist. Prices are in US dollars and can differ by store and region.
Where they differ
You write the plan, or the app does
Strong gives you starter templates and a fast way to write your own routines, then gets out of the way. It does not list a program builder or working-set load suggestions. Month6 generates the plan from your goal, experience and the days you can train, and adds load when every set reaches the top of the rep range. If you like owning every line of your program, Strong's approach suits that; if you want it decided for you, Month6's does.
The free version
Strong's free version logs unlimited workouts and caps custom routines at three; PRO unlocks unlimited templates, body-part measurements, all charts and calculators. Month6's free tier includes the whole log, every chart, the generated plan and the projection, and Pro adds the AI coach.
Nutrition
Strong has no food log of its own; its help center explains how to pull nutrition in from another app through Apple Health or Google Fit, and how to enter total calories by hand. Month6 sets calorie and macro targets from your goal and logs food in the same app as your training.
Watch and lifetime
Strong runs on Apple Watch and lists a one-time lifetime purchase. Month6 has neither a watch app nor a lifetime plan: it is iPhone and Android, with a monthly or yearly subscription for the coach.
